Letter to the World
by Margot Wagner
For this project, I wrote a handful of americana-inspired songs based on Emily Dickinson poems. These poems ‘sang’ to me while I was reading them and I tried to transcribe that experience.
Just as you might open a book of poems, stopping on a page to read whatever poem catches your eye, you can likewise ‘flip through’ this EP, listening to the song-poems in any order that speaks to you.
